Overview

S&H Site Manager (Material Handling Equipment Site Manager) involves managing operations related to material handling equipment (racking, conveyor belts, robotics etc.) on a site, focusing on efficient inventory control, equipment maintenance, production scheduling, and ensuring safety and compliance within the facility. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to oversee daily activities, manage resources, and liaison between subs and other departments primarily the PM (Project Manager)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of material handling equipment, ensuring efficient and high-quality execution of tasks. 
  • Manage inventory counts and audits, and ensure the effective use of transportation and logistics for materials.  
  • Plan and schedule production activities and manage the overall production process. 
  • Ensure strict adherence to S&H safety regulations, conduct safety inspections, and maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
  • Implement and monitor quality control programs to ensure products meet high standards. 
  • Supervise and coordinate staff, fostering a high-performance culture. 
  • Ensure compliance with all local, federal, and industry-specific environmental regulations and S&H company policies

Qualifications

Minimim Requirements: 

  • 1-3 years of personnel management experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MHE installation experience 
  • Ability to read project installation prints 

Skills & Knowledge: 

  • Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to learn quality control aspects of MHE Installation

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel 80-90%
