Field Services Mechanical Estimator

The Mechanical Cost Estimator is responsible for preparing portions of contract proposal estimates, including the determination of applicable project plans and specifications. This role works with internal and external contacts in a pre-sale,quoting, and system designing role to assist in designing engineered solutions. This primary focus being mechanical estimator for material handling execution systems, manufacturing , and/or conveyor systems.

• Estimate man-hours and equipment,etc. for proposals and PCNs
• Create bid packages to send to third-party contractors 
• Visit the site and record information about access, drainage, topography, and availability of utility services. 

Minimum Requirements:

• 6+ years of previous conveyor estimating experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• 20% travel

Education: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
