Overview

An Estimator/Planner is responsible for translating customer requests into comprehensive project packages for field teams. This includes defining the scope of work, coordinating parts delivery, scheduling tasks, and ensuring all necessary resources are in place.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project documentation outlining the scope of work, estimated man-hours, and project timeline
  • Prepare and provide drawings required to support projects
  • Coordinate timely delivery of parts, material, and equipment necessary for project completion
  • Manage tasks spanning multiple disciplines
  • Engage regularly with customers to gather project details
  • Travel up to 25% may be required to support project needs
  • Coordinate with internal departments across the S&H systems organization 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical or engineering related field with Project Management experience.

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical, Maintenance Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Essentials Certification (PME)

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, outlook)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical skills and a basic understanding of accounting practices
  • Experience in Project Coordination or management, with ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables
