Overview

  • Meets with hiring managers and records requirements for open administrative positions.
  • Examines resumes and employment applications for work history, education, training, skills, and other qualifications and compiles a list of applicants that match job requirements, utilizing a computerized file search.
  • Conducts interviews of job applicants to evaluate their technical qualifications for the job.
  • Conducts pre-screenings and interviews and ensures that potential candidates are a good fit for the client.
  • Prepares a list of vetted applicants tailored to the client's desires and needs.
  • Posts job openings on social media sites and job boards to attract talent.
  • Will fill in as Payroll backup when needed.
  • Organized and very good at communication with others within the company. 
  • Administration duties, along with answering phone calls for Human Resources.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drafts, prepares, and delivers communications and acts as a middleman with our departments throughout the hiring/interviewing process.
  • Negotiates pay with hiring managers on behalf of candidates and extends offers on behalf of the company if a deal is reached.
  • Tracks and maintains a list of applicants for each department's requests..
  • May plan and execute recruiting events.
  • Creates and places recruitment advertising in channels including the Internet
  • Will also be trained for payroll backup when needed. Help with Administration duties. 

Qualifications

High school diploma / GED

Human Resources experience 2-3 years
