The Mechanical Launch Tech is a part of the Project Execution & Launch Operations reporting directly to the Mechanical Launch Supervisor. This person will utilize their already established MHE Industrial Automation Mechanical experience to perform various validation and inspection service tasks on all Installation Projects for the PELO Department to fulfill the Project ExecutionTeam systems integrity check handover to the customer. This Launch Tech will also be an ongoing asset to both the S&H Installation Operations and Customer/Support Services teams as needed.
Review technical drawings to understand the function of each system. Work with groups to ensure quality requirements, and standards are being met.
Travel to remote work sites to perform testing of equipment. work with engineering to review operations for application, reliability, and readiness of equipment.
Perform root cause analysis to investigate issues. Assess and modify systems where the system's performance does not meet operational expectations and design specifications in close partnership with the vendor.
Minimum Requirments (including years of experience):
Strong MHE background in the mechanical field
Understand how MHE systems work with extensive knowledge of validation and qualification processes on MHE equipment.
Individuals should have a least 3-5 years of experience working in the Mechanical Installation Field.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong Mechanical Background with high Mechanical aptitude.
Knowledgeable of Mechanical Skills and principles.
Ability to read and understand complex customer drawings. And the ability to troubleshoot complex Mechanical Components.
Education (minimum and preferred):
High school minimum required with at least some mechanical-related technical certifications, preferred would be an Associate or technical degree but not required. This position relies heavily on experience.
Not required but is a major plus*** Has a major background in MHE Customer Service, support services, or mechanical installation most preferable.
